We are a fast-growing company and seek a talented, highly motivated Manager for Learning to join our regional Operations Team. 


Position Responsibilities 

  • Provide support to the head of talent and the director of systems organization and learning to develop and implement robust training agenda across BGA. Assist in the development of an annual strategy and calendar to promote continuous learning and consistency across BGA.  
  • Collaborate with and support functional and regional teams to understand training needs within their teams and throughout BGA. Work with those teams on the development of training materials for onboarding and continual learning across BGA.  
  • Liaise with team leads and the regional Talent and Training Team to develop training for small groups and individuals on an as needed basis across BGA.  
  • Coordinate development of trainings for all BGA-wide standard operating procedures and policies, working in close coordination with the talent team, the COO and all relevant team stakeholders to ensure trainings are implemented and maintained.  
  • Ensure that all trainings adhere to BGA’s SOPs, policies and culture.  
  • Work with the Talent and Training Team to ensure materials and resources are available in the learning management system (LMS) and work with all teams across BGA to implement and utilize the LMS.  
  • Develop avenues for internal learning and collaboration using the LMS or other means. Work with the head of talent and the director of systems organization and learning to promote those avenues across BGA.  
  • Track training participation across BGA and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and records of trainings are maintained.  
  • Provide back up support to the director of systems organization and learning for the management and implementation of Microsoft Teams, including permissions and access management, and the creation and management of teams and channels.   


Job Requirements: 

We seek an exceptionally collegial, highly motivated self-starter who is excited about helping BGA function more efficiently and productively. He or she must work independently and as an effective team member in supporting and anticipating company needs and filling gaps.  

Qualifications include:   

  • Personable team player with strong interpersonal skills who can work with diverse groups of people and cultural backgrounds. Familiarity with the Indo-Pacific region is a plus.  
  • Keen eye for detail with ability to ensure accuracy and completion of work in timely manner.  
  • Ability to design and present content with a flair for creativity 
  • Computer competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint (experience with MS365 applications preferred) 
  • Familiarity with information systems, such as BambooHR and Salesforce 
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate policies clearly and precisely.  
  • 4+ years experience in training, organizational learning, talent management, HR or office administration, ideally with experience in international settings. 
  • Comfortable working independently with moderate supervision.  
  • Capable of managing/handling confidential information with discretion and integrity. 
  • Availability to manage a flexible work schedule, including limited evening working hours to coordinate with team members based in other countries. This position is primarily work from home.
