We are a fast-growing company and seek a talented, highly motivated HR Associate based in Washington, DC to join our regional Operations Team. 


Position Responsibilities 

  • Support the in-processing and out-processing of team members, including the preparation of offer letters, collection of employment documentation and performing background checks. 
  • Manage and track the distribution of all IT equipment for U.S. based employees. 
  • Review employee expense reimbursements using expense management software.  
  • Review all travel requests and booking inquires for all U.S. employees.   
  • Assist with the research and preparation of new HR orientation materials and various HR-related policies.  
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll tasks, including approving timesheets for all non-exempt staff. 
  • Review and update employee personnel files as needed.   
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team. 
  • Serve as a back-up for the HR Manager as needed.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 


Job Requirements 

We seek an exceptionally collegial, highly motivated self-starter who is excited about helping BGA function more efficiently and productively. He or she must work independently and as an effective team member in supporting and anticipating company needs and filling gaps.  


Qualifications include: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism 
  • Familiarity with US labor laws, with knowledge of state law a plus  
  • Proficiency in MS 365 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, BambooHR, and Tallie a plus 
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail 
  • Ability to identify, analyze and address a wide variety of issues and problems 
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports 
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral communication 
  • Collaborator with the ability to adapt to the company’s changing needs
